Hey guys! Lots of stuff has been happening on our project side, so thought we'd share with you one thing that happened recently:
Last Thursday, Fortunate Food Co. were finally able to sell their chutney at Macquarie Bank. It was their first sneak peek at commercialising their product, and it was a big step for them in bringing their chutney out to the public.
In order to commercialise their product they had to analyse nutritional information (thanks Sophie Xian), design labels, tweak their recipe multiple times with input from professional chefs, find new farms to supply their produce and do a whole lot of cooking to get there. It was crazy how much work they did before they could sell their chutney, but they were able to manage it in the end.
We're really happy to see our new team members Vanessa, Lucy and Emma starting work on this project too. Can't wait to see where they take this project.
But anyway. Hope you enjoy this week's crazy weather. We'll update you with more soon 🙂

Thanks again Haymarket HQ for hosting our Leadership Team Meeting! We have some great plans for the upcoming year to move us one step closer to becoming the hub of social innovation at UNSW 🙂 Stay tuned!

Say hello to the new 2017 Enactus UNSW cohort! So lucky to have these amazingly talented and bright people to come work with us over the coming year. As of today we're now 81 members strong, spanning over 12 individual teams—as Victor our ex Bean Community Project leader would say, that's a lot of keen beans.
This year, we'll be honest—we had such a large number of applicants that we had a hard time turning down so many people. The quality of everyone who applied staggered us, and it even left some of our members thinking they would've never been accepted had they applied today. We try our best to recruit people who are smarter than us, and every person in this photo is a testament to that fact.
We hope all our new recruits have an awesome time at Enactus, and we hope to share more about their progress soon!
